amylynn920
Today dawned sunny and in the mid 30's. I am very tired today. My sleep has not been good for the past few days. I may go back to bed.
Roxxie2
SUNNY!!!!!!!!!!! 14 degrees!
grazhina
hey, the sun's out and it's 41 degrees! Yesterday we had dense fog. Driving home from the supermarket at 4:00 was like driving through a dark gray blanket.
Anna
Slippery alope on the roads, winds are still pretty strong which help snow drifting across the roads, yay or something.... Happy t o be home and that it is a weekend of no driving ahead of us. Hugs
havanaholly
The sun is out and nice with sweater in the sun, if no breeze. We had lost of errands this AM; we're going out tonight for a performance at PSC and I'm wearing layers.
me-barbie
Snowing to beat the band today. So much for "light flurries"
grazhina
Big fat snowflakes falling straight down, first time I've seen this kind of snow this winter. All the others have been small flakes, often driven sideways by the wind. These flakes are huge. Robins have been hanging around my holly bushes under the dining room window. orphan
In Southern California we're having 80º days, very dry and windy = high fire danger and allergies. All is not as rosy as it may seem (but grateful to be here!)
havanaholly
Sunshine AND 50s, all at the same time!
pdlnpeabody
Same here- 52 and sunny. As long as it doesn't rain, I can't complain. I know its a lot colder elsewhere.
Stacey6163
Cold here with a little bit of snow , but not quite as bad as last week. Definitely looking forward to Spring !
Anna
Below freezing, still strong winds and snow piling up here and there in the wind path.... Think I will be happy just staying in today! Hugs
havanaholly
The rain I awoke to and gray skies is more what I expected yesterday with the milder temps, but that was in the sun without a breeze, and we had chilling breezes all day yesterday. me-barbie
I was reeeeally tempted to buy flowers, but they are already climbing in price, and V-Day is still a month away (I hate V-Day). perhaps some forced crocuses or hyacinths will be avaliable soon.....and it's been snowing all weekend. havanaholly
The rain has gone, the sun is out and it's back into the 40Fs.
minigrandma10
Well, I am in "Sunny" California. The only problem with that is, this is our rainy season and no rain. We are in the worst drought in 100 years. The Governor has declared an emergency. We are having wild fires in parts of the state. Luckily it has not taken lives except the wild-life. But it scorches the land and when it rains it erodes the land. We will be on water rationing this summer even if the rain comes.
Dalesq
Me too Gail. It's dry, dry, dry.
Tinkerbelle
We had ice on the cars this morning and as I driving to work my car told me it was O degrees. (sorry don't know farenheit). England has been having really bad storms but where I am we're been lucky and got nothing, just some rain. I feel like this is the first real cold snap we're had all winter. But I would love snow. Wanted it so badly at Christmas but didn't happen. I can't believe the weather in Chicago and the rest of the USA- crazy!
chapchap73
It's around 26 here this morning, and I can "smell" snow in the air. We're supposed to get between 10 and 13 inches by tomorrow. I hope the bulk of it holds off until my hubby gets home.
havanaholly
We didn't get the rain forecast for last evening, but it's supposed to start heading down today and go back into 20Fs tonight. At the weekly jazz event we went to last night we were all discussing how unseasonably cold this Winter has been for us so far.
pdlnpeabody
It has been warm enough to ride my motorcycle without a jacket the past few days. It's almost 70F outside, but the low tonight will be 31. The next few days should be nice, then it drops to 41 / 29 on Friday. The cooler days are our dry days, so no chance of snow. me-barbie
Snowing and blowing. Again. Supposed to be -25 C tomorrow....without the wind chill. Ski pants!
grazhina
The ocean temperature is 33.1 degrees. Since the air temperature is 10, I guess the ocean would feel fairly warm in comparison. Anyone ready to take a dip?
Roxxie2
Hi Sarah! I was wondering where you were lately! The Orchid is starting to look like an Orchid! Like I said in "Its Back".........Something wicked this way comes......I have a pounding headache this morning. We NEED the snow. Our state is in trouble with a terrible drought like California. Please send us a little will ya??? Thanks!
