Buffy
Anyone have any ideas on adhesives to lay carpet? Thanks...
morgansmith
Buffy~ I use Aleene's tacky glue for just about everything. Perhaps that would work. You need it to lay and stay smooth but since it won't get hard wear, permanent adhesion isn't necessary. In fact, light adhesion might be preferable in case you wish to change it later.
havanaholly
I use my good ol' Elmer's white all-purpose glue.
KathieB
Unless the carpet curls at the edges, I wouldn't glue it down. You may want to remove it for cleaning at some time.
kat57
What about double stick or RL carpet tape? Not permanent, and yet it would keep the edges laid down.
Stacey6163
Like Kat said , I used the double sided tape and put it on a cardstock template - that way if I want to change it , I can just take it out.

Roxxie2
Tacky glue if its going to be permanent and carpet tape if you think you might want to change it. I have a heck of a time with the double sided tape but I have used the stuff you use for scrapbooking too.
