Carrots
Hi everyone, I have an "Allison" house that is in need of some help. The house is missing the front door, 2nd floor balcony rectangle door as well as 1/2 of the 2nd floor french doors. It is also missing the gingerbread roof peak detailing and the gingerbread was glued on backwards..... (why did I buy this?) Does anyone know if I can purchase replacement pieces for this house? Thanks, Kristen
havanaholly
If you can trace the door openings, doors are fairly easy to make. Another thought is to take measurements and use Houseworks or other components.
Minis On The Edge
I would do what Holly said and use House works parts. The Allison is not in production and this one was never produced by Greenleaf (only after they sold their kits to Artply) so they do not have any of the older kits and things to use as replacements. Carrots
Thanks! I will look into Houseworks for the rectangular doors. I may have to build up the courage to make a door of my own, but I suppose I have time!
havanaholly
Any hobby shop or art supply store that sells basswood boards and stripwood! I use 1/8" basswood for making doors, 1/4" stripwood for trims. If you want paneled doors, 1/16" works great!
