firef2005
Hey everyone, am finally getting to the point I can do some detail work with my Painted Lady. I made my first set of pleated curtains today with a pelmet, and was wondering the best way to get them on the wall. I'm not sure that I want something permanent, because I may want to change them later, and was wondering what everyone else uses that works well but not TOO well. Thanks! Will post pictures of my curtains soon.
otterine
Here's how I did the bay window curtains in the Heritage: http://www.otterine.com/blog/blog1.php/bay-window-curtains-part-2 And, the kitchen curtains and pelmets: http://www.otterine.com/blog/blog1.php/kitchen-valances-and-curtains You could use mini hold wax to attach the pelmets if you don't want to glue them. LindaC
I used the slide on part on the sides of report covers. Mine are sheers though and not drapes. going to look at otterines ideas :-)

havanaholly
If you use tacky glue and don't glue it to wallpaper I bet it would pop right off when you want to do something different.
Rinkmaster
I have successfully used small bits of adhesive velcro on both window and drape. I used two 1/4 in by 1/2 pieces of hooks on the house and the loops on the drapes/pelmets. Can be sewn onto drapes of needed. Easy removal for cleaning and dusting.
