creative1
I found this candle at Dollar Tree. I have no idea what I am going to do with it, but I thought it was cute.

grazhina
It would be nice for a dress shop, bridal shop, sewing room scene. I can see it now - a Missy's getting married dollhouse. The bridal gown is being finished or altered in the sewing room. There are wedding gifts all over the dining room table, and bouquets of flowers crowding out the living room. The kitchen is full with a big bridal cake and all kinds of festive foods in prep or laid out ---and daddy is sitting with his eyes glazed over watching TV clutching a can of beer in the only corner he can find.

havanaholly
It reminded me of a display I once saw in a window at David's Bridal.
SMarieCarlson
You could glue some fabric over the skirt part, paint the bodice, and other final touches like microbeads etc and use it as a display. Or even better yet you could sculpt a head and make it the ghost of Marie Antoinette.
creative1
Here's what I've done so far to the candles. The one on the left I painted all over, the one on the right I just painted the top. I still need to do more to it, but which do you like best so far? KathieB
Tanya, the paint seems to have covered some of the lovely detail of the "lace" on the bodice. Does the candle need to be painted?
SMarieCarlson
I have to agree with KathieB. I think it looks great with just the black on top and then leave the dress unpainted. Don't forget the pearl necklace though.
