shutterbugkc
Okay, I've gotten to the point on my Arthur where I supposed to put the porch on. But, I'm also planning on doing siding. Would it be better for me to glue the porch supports directly onto the actual house and then cut the clapboard siding around it? Or, would it be better to do the siding first and then glue the porch parts to the siding? Please help!
Minis On The Edge
I did the porch supports first then added the siding around mine. I don't think there is a wrong or right way about it though. I was thinking the same thing when I got to that point in building it ;)
shutterbugkc
Thanks! I was leaning toward that direction. It just seems that things would fit better that way. An I certainly like the way your's turned out!
LPCullen
We did the siding first ...
LisaN
I plan to cheat a little and put the siding on before. My siding I hope will look really great --the arthur is something I haven't yet started!
havanaholly
FYI the second picture of the seashell bathroom fixtures finally posted to my Arthur blog! Better late than never...
havanaholly
DS#2's lady took one look at the Arthur & I don't think her niece is going to get it for a while ;) We went to Miniatures in the Attic (they happened to be having a BIG sale) and she has begun to furnish it. We went to Michael's and got a hutch & some paint and made a kitchen cupboard, but I don't think she's into DIY yet It's such fun to see the min bug bite!
