Minis On The Edge
Welcome to the forum Audrey! I think the Laurel & Primrose are Country houses. The Laurel looks like a country farmhouse to me. Do you have pictures of your other houses? I would love to see them! Well Duh, I did not see your link at first before I started typing LOL I am going to check your pictures out now LOL Oh My goodness!! Your Red house is a Rosedale by Greenleaf!! althea
Oh My! Thank you for the warm welcomes- AND the info! I can't believe it's a Greenleaf! the wood is sooo much thicker than the newer kits I've been working with! Does anyone have any more info to share? Like how long ago were they produced, ect...? It also looks as tho it's missing a "thing" on the back second floor- there is a tab slot there, but I dunno what for? Woo Hooooo!! I am soo excited to rehab this house! A little structural stability, freshen up the colors - maybe change them, wire it, all new finishes....oooh! I am so happy! Thanks to all of you!!!! Minis On The Edge
I know it was made in the early 80s . I had this http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/uploads/gallery_4_53_75820.jpg in the 2" roombox and it was made in the early 80s. The Rosedale is listed on it. Minis On The Edge
Here is more pictures I found of this house before I packed it away. My box said 1984 on it according to my notes I have on my computer. Hope this helps because it does look like your stair parts are missing. I love the lines of this house but it was made more special to my heart because I recieved it as a gift from one of my first miniature mentors when I first found this wonderful addiction..errm hobby how lucky for you to have 2 discontinued but still wonderful houses I look forward to see how you decorate both. nutti
althea
Tracy- I cannot thank you enough! On the Rosedale, the stairs are built in there, and it weird, 'coz they are actually inside the wall- so they dont take up all that wall space. I know I am missing trims. I actually emailed Greenleaf to see if I could somehow duplicate this and restore the Rosedale to it's glory. Nutti- I am awaiting shipment of the Granville from out west. I bought it on ebay, and I'll add the pics that I have for you to my webshots this morning! I cannot believe my luck! Looks like I have my work cut out for me. I thought the big one might be an Artply, but couldn't really place it- the porches confused me. Again, my heartfelt thanks for everyone's insights and kindness, I look forward to being a part of this community. Edited to add pic links of Granville: http://community.webshots.com/photo/551787...093565969vIQQzg http://community.webshots.com/photo/551787...093565969reIawv http://community.webshots.com/photo/551787...093565969szeAus http://community.webshots.com/photo/551787...093565969hIPFun http://community.webshots.com/photo/551787...093565969xFLesJ Audrey
