blue_moon992
I've been working hard on my Fairfield....finally got some new pics up....To stain or not to stain, that is the question! Can't decide on the floors in the living room and dining room! Argh! lol
Nameless1
Very nice! What a cool idea with the curtains from scrapbooking diecuts -- I hadn't seen those before! On floors... light floors are classic, and dark floors are very, very chic right now. So if you want the house to be old-fashioned or timeless, I'd go no darker than golden oak, but if you see the inhabitants as ultra-up-to-date, I'd go with the darkest walnut possible. Charlene
Looks really good! The Fairfield is my project after the castle (which is after the Sugarplum) so I'm paying attention here!
CatColorado
WOW! I love the red walls! I have those curtains too, I plan to put them in my 1/2" farmhouse bash. The floors are awesome too. I wish I could find my Fairfield pictures, but I think I may have deleted them by mistake.
Minis On The Edge
Your house looks wonderful and the scrapbook paper is perfect too. I really like your red room. I LOVE stained floors so I am no help because I will vote for you to stain them
blue_moon992
Thanks for the encouraging words. I really like how the red kitchen turned out too and those curtians couldn't have fit better if I had made and planned them myself. I decided to stain the floors......I made hardwood on the porch and stained it as well as the roof pieces so I think it would look sorta dumb naked! lol. Got my furnatiure kit today, 31 pieces w/ no instructions, woo hoo! argh!
