superjess
Hi. This is my first dollhouse build ever! I've started my Primrose. Done the dryfit but I have a question about the roof. There is a set of holes that you're supposed to use if you're connecting the it to the Laurel, which I'm doing. But in the dryfit, I couldn't get the roof to go into the correct hole. Will it fit after I glue it? I'm going slow on this to make sure I don't mess it up! Thanks for any advice!!
LLyn M.
Hmmmmm- could you be using the wrong side of the roof??Turn it over and see if the holes-rather tabs line up any better.
Monica_the_haunted
Sometimes the tabs and slots just need a bit of sanding. Don't be afraid to do this, because if you sand too much you can fix it with the glue and or spackle. Good luck with it!

superjess
I'll try. I'm just worried that it will make the house lean in at the top. And I don't know if I'm explaining it well. But I'll keep working at it!
superjess
Okay, anyone out there who's done these two together? I'd love to see pictures of it. I just can't decided how to fit the roof on. If you've completed this, it should make sense! Help me if you can.
justmesue
The roof of the Primrose must be flush, flat, level to it's side wall, on the side that will be glued to the Laurel. Do not allow for any overhang of any kind on that side. I've seen them assembled together in person at the dh shop. I have however, only built the Primrose, but I seen how it's intended to work. Best of luck.
