Monica_the_haunted
I'm looking for the dimentions for the Glouchesters windows if anyone has them. Hugs, Monica
Anna
I'll measure them for you in the morning as I have the front packed away so to speak Hugs
Monica_the_haunted
Oh, thanks Anna! I actually got the Glouchester in hand so I don't need the measuments anymore. I should have noted that in this thread. Thanks again though! Hugs, Monica
Wolfie
I have the English version of the Glaucester in my basement. I don't think it is the same as the Glaucester that Greenleaf has released though. It even says "Made in England" but it's called The Glaucester. Anna
It is such a dream to work with, goes together like a charm!!! So happy that you got one as well!!! Hugs
havanaholly
Wolfmeister, the Gloucester & the Cheltenham were made in England for GL/CC, according to the description in the HBS catalog, when they carried them.
Mandystar
Does anyone who has built the Cheltenham have any caveats or advice on this house? I've not built a Corona house yet... are they as easy (relatively speaking) to build and/or bash as GL ones?
havanaholly
I have built (and bashed) almost equal numbers of Greenleaf and Corona Concepts kits.
Mandystar
Thanks, Holly, but are the Corona houses as easy to build and bash as the Greenleaf houses -- or are they pretty much the same?
havanaholly
I haven't noticed any difference in bashability..
Mandystar
Now there's a new word! I like it. Thanks!
Jeffrey
Both lines are exactly the same quality IMO. I think it's the level of architectural detail that differs.
Mandystar
Thanks, Jeffrey! Well, assuming I do make this my next project, I can assure you that I plan to do quite a number on this baby! We'll be adding architectural detail all our own!!! I can already see some significant changes -- didn't get much real work done today because I was busy studying the angles of the house to see what I could do that wouldn't interfere with the front opening!
