Luanne
I was curious, if you have removed lights from your houses when moving from one place to another? Those lights are so fragile looking, just curious. Thanks Luanne
KathieB
Luanne, when I helped with a dollhoue for charity, we knew it was going to be moved more than once. The lights glued to the walls (sconces, front door carriage light, kitchen ceiling lights, etc) stayed in place. Floor and table lamps were installed with push-in outlets, so they were removed and carefully wrapped. The large chandelier in the stairwell was installed with one of Cir-kit Concepts twist ceiling fasteners, which allowed it to be unscrewed and packed separately. If moving only a little way, You might wrap the hanging lights in tissue and tape them to the ceiling to prevent bumping as they swing. Luanne
I was thinking that all bulbs if possible should be removed. These lights are tough! Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep that in mind. I like the taping lights to ceiling idea. Luanne
chesterfieldzoo
I would remove as few as possible to keep from messing up the wiring.
havanaholly
I have read somewhere to bag them/ pack around them & tape them up.

justmesue
When I moved my Cranberry, I taped bubble wrap around the ceiling fixtures to prevent them from smashing around. They took the move safely.
