Jeffrey
The description for the Artly Rutherford in this old magazine says to glue if you wish like its optional. HELLO!? if you dont glue it will fall apart! That had me laughing for a while.
Margaret
So true-So true-What were they thinking?
Just One More
I'd love to find one of these houses. The price listed on the add is long gone. For a house that size it would be much more now. Glue if you wish as opposed to tape, tiny nails, trust, what? That is pretty funny.
christinee
I think the thinking of the writers of the ad was that since the house is tab and slot, you don't "need" glue to put it together. I've had some Greenleaf houses that stayed together during the dry fit without glue...until I moved them of course. The Rutherford is a gorgeous house...what year is that magazine? Deb
Glue??? You're supposed to use glue???? <smacking hand on forehead> And all this time I've been using bubble gum and string. I'll have to give that glue thing a try. <cackle> Deb

Minis On The Edge
I hope people did glue! Masking tape certainly don't hold long enough
