Fourth of July is always fun around here -- my house is at the top of a hill -- we can see fireworks from 3 different communities right from the comfort of our living room! Unfortunately the neighbors start "practicing" as early as 2-3 days BEFORE the holiday, then "use up the leftovers" for 2-3 days AFTER the holiday..so my poor cats spend the week in the closet! :yay: With the 4th falling on a Friday this year, we're expecting LOTS of activities around our lake all weekend...we are homebodies, though, and just watch "from afar".
