No, but I could make you one.  How tall is your fishin' Santa?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Dunno. I'll measure him on Friday when I get back up there and let you know.

I've been playing a bit with the Madison. Been putting the tin roof on. Still not sure if that's gonna work. I wanted to do wainscoating on the interior, and was trying to figure out how to do that without cutting wood. Decided to try paperclay ... I know I want to do a yellow wallpaper in the kitchen, and I'm still not sure about the livingroom. Any suggestions?

But, while in Chicago, I found the most perfect couple for the Madison, and they're in the album!

Well, there were a few other dolls I wanted too, but they were WAY out of my budget, LOL!

Linda: I love your "happy couple". They are precious and perfect for this house. For the livingroom, what about paneling or a textured paint to mimic sheetrock? In some old country homes, I've known them to hand cardboard over the walls to block the wind. LOL

Your little couple is just perfect! They made me laugh out loud when I saw them.......they're just that cute!

I really love the way the house is coming together. The roof is just totally killer. I'm with Peggy about the sheetrock in the living room, or maybe a distressed, aged wallpaper. Newspaper would work too but I don't know if that's the look you'd be going for. Your wainscotting is awesome and adds so much character.

The tin roof looks good so far. What are you using to do it? I like the paperclay too.

You bought some fabulous things at the show. I love the hat,and vanity set.

Thanks Terri! The roof is cut up drink cans, and Jimmy made some cut outs in blocks of wood to make them.

Thanks Peggi! There's actually some green scrap book paper, which looks like crackle paint, that I'm thinking about for the livingroom. The furniture is a green plaid.

Thanks Deb! I actually bought them mostly for the lady. I loved the curlers in her hair and her fuzzy slippers.

Yay!!! <doing the happy-madison dance> I'm so glad you're working on this one again. You know it's my favorite of all your houses. It's looking wonderful too! You've really captured the perfect tone for this house. I love it!!

Thanks everyone! I still have to put a ridge cap on the roof and do the "rust" on the roof. I also have to put the trim and door on. Then I have to do a base and finish it out.

Could I get a little help? I'm trying to figure out which kitchen set up to use. I've narrowed it to three.

Set up one

Could you all tell me which one you like best? Please?
