LPCullen
I've been playing a bit with the Madison. Been putting the tin roof on. Still not sure if that's gonna work. I wanted to do wainscoating on the interior, and was trying to figure out how to do that without cutting wood. Decided to try paperclay ... I know I want to do a yellow wallpaper in the kitchen, and I'm still not sure about the livingroom. Any suggestions? But, while in Chicago, I found the most perfect couple for the Madison, and they're in the album! Well, there were a few other dolls I wanted too, but they were WAY out of my budget, LOL! http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/i...album&album=
smallhouset
The tin roof looks good so far. What are you using to do it? I like the paperclay too. You bought some fabulous things at the show. I love the hat,and vanity set.
Peggi
Linda: I love your "happy couple". They are precious and perfect for this house. For the livingroom, what about paneling or a textured paint to mimic sheetrock? In some old country homes, I've known them to hand cardboard over the walls to block the wind. LOL
Deb
Your little couple is just perfect! They made me laugh out loud when I saw them.......they're just that cute! I really love the way the house is coming together. The roof is just totally killer. I'm with Peggy about the sheetrock in the living room, or maybe a distressed, aged wallpaper. Newspaper would work too but I don't know if that's the look you'd be going for. Your wainscotting is awesome and adds so much character. There's actually some green scrap book paper, which looks like crackle paint, that I'm thinking about for the livingroom. The furniture is a green plaid. Your little couple is just perfect! LPCullen
Thanks everyone! I still have to put a ridge cap on the roof and do the "rust" on the roof. I also have to put the trim and door on. Then I have to do a base and finish it out.
LPCullen
Could I get a little help? I'm trying to figure out which kitchen set up to use. I've narrowed it to three. Set up one set up two set up three Could you all tell me which one you like best? Please?
Roxxie
I like set up one for the old fashioned sink and set up two for the modern one. I bet that helped..not! lol I tried! Signed the Queen of Indecision!
cjme63
Is your house modern, or historical? The "butler sink" in one and three is from the late 1800's-early 1900's (I believe). Your appliances are modern, so I'd go with scene two - hope this helps. Cynthia
