Beacon Hill

Ok I am building the Beacon Hill and for a while I've been keeping my eye on the 3rd floor right room. The part that slightly juts out into the room. I was thinking of cutting a door into it and making it a second closet. Has anybody done this and is it a good idea?

Hmmm I guess you could it would not be much of a closet because the inside is the inside of the Mansard roof. You could just put a door on to make it look like a closet but that would take up alot of wall space which is kind of lacking in that small room anyway. JMO I loved building the BH

I like Irene's idea of the door to make it look like a closet--I did think the same thing too about the closet in that room, but as I was siding that crazy little area between the roof and the tower, realized how small that area is...I love the BH too...even more that I'm actually getting somewhere with it,lol Have you got any pictures to show us of your BH Sarah??

I had thought of putting in some closets also when I build mine. It seems a shame not to use that blank space. You could always put on a door and a photo of a closet inside so it looks deeper than it is. Or paint it black inside and make a bunch of 'half' clothes.
