Okay, so I have been working on the Canterbury for awhile now but the ideas that keep coming are flooding my brain! I had to set it aside for awhile as all the details were becoming a little too much to handle. Working on a wine box to house my McKinley stairs to relax the old brain cells for awhile. Was thinking this morning that when a story idea would come to mind, it would keep swirling around in there until I wrote it down, then I was fine. Perhaps writing all this stuff down would have the same effect--I sure don't want to give up on the Canterbury, I love that little house! Perhaps writing it all down will stop the "detail crazies"!
Hello, I’m Marc, I’m new here, and I’m not a dollhouse collector myself. Instead I’m poking around for eBay, trying to understand how passionate collectors share their hobby with others. I hope it’s appropriate for me to post here. Do dollhouse aficionados meet in person? Are there key miniature shows or conferences? Do collectors have an interest in writing short articles to share their expertise? eBay has a tool to help authors get wide distribution for their 400-1200 words. Though it was developed to help eBay sellers get exposure, we’re wondering if dollhouse collectors have any interest in writing for others, where we help bring traffic to your gem. Here’s an example about caring for plastic dollhouse furniture. Please do share your thoughts. Thanks, Marc
