4. From the album: Steampunk

Staged the Steampunk summerhouse to see what would fit. Lady Rebecca said this little robot comes in real handy around the house, she's going to teach it how to do laundry next....

  5. From the album: Minion Village

The second house in the village is finished! There's either a flower shop or an auto repair shop next! Stay tuned on my blog!

  7. From the album: Steampunk

After I knocked the telescope over and broke it, figured I had to redesign it to make it more stable. The Captain likes this one even better!

  8. From the album: Canterbury

This wasn't the original plan, I think the house had a last minute rethink! It had a rethink about the rest of the roof too, now I'm not sure what it wants....

<p>&lt;p&gt;Have decided that this is the family that will live in the steampunk house. Sherlock would never be able to maintain all the steam engines and he just doesn't seem the type to go out and mow the lawn when it needs it, so these people will be his close friends that invite him to the country once in awhile to clear his head. Unfortunately, he brought his hookah along, so I don't know how much head-clearing there will actually be going on. Don't know their names yet, but I

Found this pencil sharpener on Ebay, will need some modifying to work, and a new paint job!
  13. From the album: Steampunk

Here he is showing off his latest invention. He wants this installed on the tower of the Steampunk Summerhouse. I was going to put a nice wrought iron railing up there, but guess I got outvoted.

  14. From the album: Steampunk

Here you go! The ultimate in convenience. Steam adjustment knobs on the left, pressure selection on the right and built in fan for noxious odors. A little tricky to flush as you have to dodge the fan blades, but it is first generation. Enjoy!

<p>&lt;p&gt;Had fun with one of those little wooden mannequins.&lt;/p&gt;</p>

  17. From the album: Canterbury

Finished painting and detailing the wheels and decided that I wanted wrought iron instead of lattice under the porch.
  18. Dry brushed the black wagon wheels with FolkArt gunmetal gray metallic paint to make them look, well, more metallic! LOL! Then I found a Glad container and put all the wheels into it. Will keep the sawdust off that I'm bound to be creating making that set of scissor steps; but also keeps the Captain from messing with them. Though I did catch him with the hydraulic jack trying to pry open the lid.....he's persistent, I'll give him that. I was thinking about the steps and remembered that the wood I bought is 24 inches long. Instead of measuring and cutting each one inch piece, I think I will me
  19. The noise coming from the shop was indeed Captain Morin putting the freshly painted wheels on the Summerhouse. I think Richard and Reginald from the steampunk family gave him a hand. Personally, I don't know how they managed it, but I did notice that my mini hydraulic jack is nowhere to be seen...I think these gentlemen look a little too innocent, don't you? The wheels will have to come off so I can get started on the electrical. I have quite a few fixtures from over the years as I was always going to electrify something. Well, now is the time!
