    Well, we lost another pet this week. Our lab Snickers crossed the Rainbow Bridge and went to be with her Dachsund brother George, who crossed a couple months ago. I am travelling and I didn't even get to say goodbye! My husband called me the night before she passed to let me know that it appeared to be time, and Snickers left us early the next morning. She was almost 15 years old and a good friend. We have two more old dogs, neither is in good health and we've lost two already this year. By pure chance they are all going downhill at the same time, and it is just terrible. But Snickers and George are in a better place, and I know I will see them again some day. **sniffle**
