I have about 203 back issues of Nutshell News from 1981-1995. Some issues may be missing from some years. I have them listed on eBay and Webstore under Dataphx. Some are not showing because they need to be relisted, but I have reached my eBay limit and need to wait for other things to expire. Plus I have numerous other miniature magazines that include Miniature Gazette, Dollhouse Miniature, Dolls House also for sale and each from random years. Please feel free to contact me for more information. I have images of all of them.
Hi all, Unfortunately I'm in a place in my life where I don't have the time or space to work on miniatures and money is tight so I have to downsize. I have a bunch of stuff to sell: furniture, accessories, kits, catalogs/magazines, maybe even some supplies. A lot of this stuff i have had around for a long time and I either had no plans of working on or using most of it. I was keeping it just in case it came in handy someday or for future projects that I'll never get to. I'd hate to throw this stuff out (Already accidentally lost my loganberry mill in the shuffle. It got put in the trash pile) so I'm posting here because I want to see it go to a good home. Much of it is in storage at the moment so as i work my way through I'll list different things each week. Please PM me for prices or further information, photos, shipping/local pickup details. Forgive me if this has been covered in another topic already. I did a search yesterday but couldn't find a definitive answer. I'd like input from those of you with more experience. I'm looking to start building some of my own furniture, and would like to know which tools y'all use the most, and if there are any brands better than others? I have been looking at the Dremel 3000 or 4000, but then I saw something in the forum yesterday that talked about the Proxxon rotary tool. Looks cool, but the "no returns" clause has me a little nervous. What other power tools should I look into? Table saws, jig saws, etc.? Should they be specifically for miniatures (I'm thinking yes), or can you just pick them up at Lowe's? If not, where do you buy them? Also, which magazines do you think have the most value as far as building projects, or are they all really about the same? I'm trying to decide which to subscribe to (I can't subscribe to all of them at this time). Thanks for any advice you can offer!
Received a box today in the mail and didn't remember buying anything from Ashdown. When I opened it, There was a Reutter Porzellan gift wrapped in pink tissue paper and the first issue of my subscription wrapped in purple tissue paper. Wow! Made my day! Great issue too.
