Forgive me if this has been covered in another topic already. I did a search yesterday but couldn't find a definitive answer.
I'd like input from those of you with more experience. I'm looking to start building some of my own furniture, and would like to know which tools y'all use the most, and if there are any brands better than others? I have been looking at the Dremel 3000 or 4000, but then I saw something in the forum yesterday that talked about the Proxxon rotary tool. Looks cool, but the "no returns" clause has me a little nervous.
What other power tools should I look into? Table saws, jig saws, etc.? Should they be specifically for miniatures (I'm thinking yes), or can you just pick them up at Lowe's? If not, where do you buy them?
Also, which magazines do you think have the most value as far as building projects, or are they all really about the same? I'm trying to decide which to subscribe to (I can't subscribe to all of them at this time).
Thanks for any advice you can offer!
