    From the album: Scenes & Other Minis

    2 custom decorated bottle brush Christmas trees. A custom set for one of my Etsy customers. I had a couple trees with dragonflies for sale, but the store bought acrylic dragonflies only came in red and blue. My customer had a special reason for requesting pink and purple, so I made some just for her.

    I know this comes up often around this time of year...and Ive searched the other threads but couldn't find exactly the info I was looking for. Im getting ready to do my first Lycopodium Christmas tree (usually use the lemax trees) and the book Im using for instructions is an 80s Nutshell News booklet called Christmas Confections. In this book they instruct you to use a Styrofoam cone base (painted green) and stick your Lycopodium into it. My question is, every tutorial I see on line and Ive looked at 4 of them...no one mentions using the styro base, they have you using a bottle brush tre
