    Il est fait de carton plume et carton rigide. Les tours, le donjon, les remparts, le pont-levis sont indépendants. J'ai construit des morceaux de remparts qui viennent s'emboîter avec deux autres parties pour former un ensemble. It is made of sturdy cardboard and foamboard. Towers, the dungeon, the walls, the drawbridge are independent. I built pieces of ramparts that are fit with two other parts to form a whole

    Dans la partie octogonale du château, j'ai construit un escalier en colimaçon. In the octagonal part of the castle, I built a spiral staircase.

    Voici le château enfin terminé. Au milieu de la cour, il y a une prison (demande spéciale de mon neveu). Je lui ai offert ce château pour son 5ème anniversaire. Here is the castle finally finished. In the middle of the courtyard, there is a jail (special request of my nephew). I offered this castle for his 5th birthday.

    Après deux couches de peinture grise, j'ai fait plusieurs brossages à sec avec du noir, du blanc et du gris foncé. After two coats of gray paint, I made several drybrush with black, white and dark gray.

  20. My question is this, if you were going to build a dollhouse as 'therapy' (something to destress you, make you happy, no other reason) and you were choosing between a (half scale if you're counting) Buttercup and Chantilly, which would you choose? I ordered these two houses, one for my daughter, and she's chosen a different house since. So I have the option of building either. Because I'm having a hard time making up my mind, I wondered how others would think, facing the same choice. Either way, I plan some light bashing and a storybook type look that might hint strongly of bohemian/castle/critter...... If that makes any sense And for those of you who know I'm working on some big houses, I truly need a smaller project. I've always wanted a Greenleaf Half Scale, so here I am
