Hi everyone!
I've been working on my Vineyard/Primrose bash today, specifically, I'm working on extending the 2nd floor loft, so that it will become a full floor and connect with the Primrose 2nd floor. I drew up a rough layout of what I'm trying to accomplish. It isn't to scale and doesn't show the Primrose to the left or the Vineyard Balcony to the right. However, I think it shows what I'm trying to do fairly well.
I actually rough cut the new floor piece already, wrestling with my bandsaw and my inability to cut straight. Finally, I stood back to admire my handiwork. I'd been cutting from the reverse side of the wood and when I flipped it over, I realized that the top side of the wood I was using has a rather large split. I coulda kicked myself!
Now, I've stopped for food and inspiration, as well as the courage to cut out the floor AGAIN from a new piece of wood.
Does anyone see any possible problems in my design? I'm not much of a carpenter.
