  1. Lovely. The yellow and blue look so good together.
  2. More minis is a great blog, there is Orchid builders blog on this site as well, but since the update, I cannot seem to find it. The instructions can be vague. Do you have this copy? https://secure.img1-fg.wfcdn.com/docresources/6202/75/752995.pdf You can ask questions on this thread, but it might be better to start another thread for support as this is on the New Member's intro. That way people who might have similar questions can find the answers easily.
  3. Welcome Carol . Which kit are you working on? Watching everyone's builds is almost as fun as doing the actual build.
  4. I love that suit! He reminds me of Otis from the Andy Griffith show. *hiccup*

  7. Hello gingerbread8! Welcome to the group. I love the idea! I haven't seen it done, but like you said, "I’ve seen so many people do such neat things...." IMO anything is possible with imagination and grit. Have you built a dollhouse before?
  8. Welcome Cindy! The orchid is a great house. Enjoy!
  9. Welcome to the group! Which kit are you working on? The good thing about miniatures is that most mistakes can be undone so have fun!
  10. Hi Welcome, I suggest contacting David from David's dollhouse...https://davidsdollhouse.com/ I believe his dad owned Norm's dollhouse out of Colorado and built The Visalia.....I could be mistaken, but it is worth a go.
  11. I saw punch needle fabric at Hobby Lobby one time! It was with the embroidery counted cross stitch stuff. It is also called weavers cloth. Here is an Etsy site, but try googling and you will find everything you need to do a rug. Karin @WyckedWood did a tutorial on here too. https://www.etsy.com/listing/657082205/weavers-cloth-punch-needle-white-weavers?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_ts1-e-craft_supplies_and_tools-canvas_and_surfaces-canvas-unstretched_canvas&utm_custom1=1f1196aa-bf9a-472c-a209-9c4e3383d2ed&utm_content=go_1844177645_69409491563_346397261518_pla-297065912051_c__657082205&utm_custom2=1844177645&gclid=CjwKCAjwqdn1BRBREiwAEbZcR8wDxPR08oBpLUIeh2m72iZqadnipH3Wwj5BeE0A4RwOveFyM_LgOhoCPpYQAvD_BwE Tutorial:

  18. Welcome fellow Willow builder. I love the Willow, it has nice deep rooms and is fairly simple....the outer door molding was a bit confusing to me . How fun to build it with your hubby.
