  1. Okay, if I'm going to put up a chair rail on the walls, (dividing two different wallpaper patterns), and the rooms are 9 inches tall, How far up should I place them?? I've tried eyeballing and looking at photos of other's dh's. I even asked down at the paint store. They said 3 feet, if the ceiling is 10 ft. I don't know how tall chairs are. And if there is a standard height for this. Anyone know exactly????
  2. Yeah,, what's 2 more?? ( you softy) Reminds me of the lady on my street growing up who had a house full of cats. The "Cat Lady"' When she passed away, they found like 40 cats in and around the house. oh my! Amy, you're the next Cat lady!!

  5. Thanks everyone for the compliments!! Now I feel like a true miniaturist!!!! I added the slats and mattress. Pics in my gallery.
  6. Yes. I've heard of doing it that way too. Next house I'll do that. Seems alot easier and faster. I used sanding sealer after I punched out the pieces.
  7. Yup, that's one huge house! Did you notice the bird on the railing of the widow's walk? (the top little railing on the roof)

  10. Oh my gosh, I forgot to put on the slats to hold the mattress!! Ok, doing it right now. Tomorrow I'll make a mattress out of foam and see what I can come up with for bedding. I asked my mom for a pair of her "bloomers" to make a sheet set. lol. Well.. they are bigger than mine... Much!!!! And the cotton print on them will be perfect. She's thinks I've lost my mind w/ all this mini stuff. Haaa! If she only knew, (I lost it a very long time ago!)

  14. Okay, I googled it, Greengables dollhouse website has reallly good pictures of it, interior and exterior. If I knew how to put the photo on this thread I'd do it for ya.

  17. Well I have to admit, for a "pink" Christmas tree, it came out really pretty. So now you've got your pink tree!!! I'll bet you're thinking of spray painting your real tree hu? hee hee!
  18. I bought Clear Acrylic Sealer spray. Matte. You can buy it at any craft store or craft dept in walmart. I haven't wallpapered yet, have ordered dh wallpaper, now I'm afraid of using it, I don't want to have to replace it 'cause it fades. I do have plenty of real wallpaper, which should not fade. If I opt to use dh wallpaper I will definitely spray it with sealer first. What's everyone else's take on this???
  19. Wow that's a great site,, They have my Tennyson Dollhouse kit for a fraction of the original price. Bunch of furniture kits too. All kinds of stuff. Unbelievably inexpensive!!!!!
