  3. Love it! My next house I'll have to build a party room w/ a bar and jukebox, etc.
  4. As it is... I have to take the ferry boat to get to the mainland.. but I get off this island 2 - 3 times a month. Moose Miniatures?? I'll have to investigate that place too!! Topsfield is way up by New Hampshire hu.
  5. Oh yeah. it's a great site. I've printed out sheets of brick.. very realistic looking too. I have a new printer that prints out fantastically, that helps too.
  6. If anyone lives in or near Massachusetts, I found a dollhouse supply store. It's at the Raynham Flea Market off Rt. 44 in Raynham, MA. Open Sundays only. This woman has owned it for 13 yrs now and she promises she has no plans on closing any time soon. It's called Mber Woods Dollhouse and Woodcrafts. She sells everything!! She even gave me a demonstration on using the Easy Cutter tool. I'm definitely going back there soon w/ lots of cash!! And no kids in tow,, so I can browse to my hearts content! Ohh I'm so excited!!!!!
  7. The pillars are just beautiful! You're doing such exquisite work on this Tennyson. Love the story you got going on with it! Thanks for sharing w/ us
  8. Wow , it's beautiful! I'd love to have the tools to make furniture. There's a website for buying mini table saws and such.. does anyone remember what it is?? Thanks for sharing w/ us.. and show us more as you go along!!
  9. I agree w/ the middle one too. What a great idea, Can't wait to see it constructed!!
  10. I bought my Greenleaf Tennyson new about 14- 15 yrs ago.. I think it was around $80, don't remember exactly, but I'm sure it would be much more now. $30 is a bargain. I'd jump on it if I was you! The Tennyson is a darling house. A few peeps here have built one. I'm still in the process- pics in my gallery.
  11. Wow, Love that staircase! And the floor! Looks like real wood. I 86'd my staircase ,, needed more room for the bathroom upstairs. I didn't really configure right when I started decorating. Bedroom should be on that side. Oh well. But maybe a spiral would work? Hmm.. Well thanks for sharing the pics. Keep working and inspiring me! I've been lolly gaggin' over here.. I got stumped on the angles in the bay window area for trim. I do have some new pics in my gallery though.. Maybe I'll go to the hardware store tomorrow and get some paint.. start on the exterior. Oh and I got Ernies latest catalog in the mail today.. $5.oo coupon off!!

  19. It came out beautiful! I love the pastel exterior. Nice work
  20. Are you kiddin' me? That's a great price! The hard part is already done.. just needs the finish work, decorating etc.. Get it! Get it!! Beautiful house.
  21. I changed the bathroom colors, tile and walls a couple times. Here is what it looks like now. It may change again before I'm finished! Oh darn.. says the file is too large. I'll have to resize Ok, I'll put it in my gallery
  22. My Tennyson was bought in 1992. It sat in the box in the cellar for a few yrs, then went with me on a couple of moves. The wood got a bit warped and dried out by the time I started working on it last October. I don't mind the imperfections as this is my first build and my "practice" house for many to come I'm sure. Also.. The Tennyson was discontinued, which is too bad, it's a darling house. So any house that has been discontinued, or sat for a long enough time to get dried out and/or warped would be considered an old house.
  23. Wendy, You've done it again!!! I always look forward to seeing what you're gonna come up with next. As always,, beautiful work!
