Gilding the Lily
Back on April 1st 2015, I purchased a Lily using my 40% from HBS. It sat in the garage until just this past April. I'm not a huge fan of plywood houses because of all the sanding & filling but this is such a nifty layout that I couldn't resist.

Gilding the Lily
I bought the Lily with my 40% off coupon at HBS in 2015. Finally got around to starting it April 2016! Not a huge fan of plywood houses because of all the sanding (and sanding and sanding) but this one had just a neat layout that I just had to have it.

Terrarium
I didn't want to make a separate box for both Memorial Day & 4th of July (I mean, it's pretty much the same décor, right?). I spray painted this old Michael's terrarium (discounted from $50 to $12) and decided to make a yard scene that could sit out from May through July.

Holiday Lantern
So now that I've got a room to display for every month of the year, what to do with all my holiday decorations? Rather than create a room for each event, I created a vignette that could be changed out with each season.

Cleanin' House
I have just too much stuff! Rather than try and fill a big house and find a place to display it, I decided to create individual rooms and put out one of them each month of the year. No more worrying about clashing décor from room to room!

A Tale of Two Houses
Taking apart and repairing the Pierce is going to be a laborious and uneventful process for quite some time so I decided to start another project as a "reward" for my hard work. For every hour I spend on the Pierce, I spend 2 hours working on this latest project (isn't that how the reward system is supposed to work?)... taking 2 Princess Annes and merging them into one building that can be seen from all sides.

Pierce
My sister just drove down from Virginia and brought along her recent yard sale find... a $5 Pierce!

Queen Anne Scratch-Built
After finding a beautiful 1894 Queen Anne to purchase (grrrr, they wouldn't come down enough on their price and yet it still sits there...), I decided to try and build one from scratch. I don't mean stick-built. Just having no floor plans and no instructions. Just gonna wing it. But first, I have to research...

2nd Princess Anne
I just couldn't resist. I bought the last clearance Princess Anne at my local HL. Its such an easy build and I absolutely love those windows (which cost more than the discounted house itself). I'm leaning towards doing shabby chic decor but who knows where it'll end up taking me. Sometimes the houses have a mind of their own.

Spring Fling 2011
Now that the Spring Fling is coming to a close, I don't mind showing these pics. They don't tell any story, just some colors...
