  1. There's diet support here too???? OMG I'm in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I'm another one that's got a bit (ok quite a bit) of weight to drop and I'm hoping that I can drop about 60 pounds before my wedding in September....it's those darn cookies that keep distracting me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *drool*
  2. Oh, wonderful question! My mom read to both my sister and me from birth so I've ALWAYS been a huge reader and still am! I'd have to say that I'm an old-school girl and a lot of my favorites were from when my mom was young lol! I was a Trixie Belden fan and the first thing I did when I discovered Ebay was to collect the entire series. I also loved E. Nesbit, particularly the Five Children and IT series, and anything by Enid Blyton. I loved the Anne of Green Gables series and the Three Investigators (I liked the Alfred Hitchcock show as a kid...boy was I weird!!!). Any faery tales for sure....an

I think that would be waiting not-so-patiently for my BH to arrive so I can sit by the tree and drool over it until Christmas....also working on finishing up a cross-stitch project for my F-I-L-to-be and then there's that pesky work stuff....tell me again why paychecks are necessary?

  5. mmmmmmm crockpot food...y'all are making me hungry! I personally like anything that the boy (or the fiance or DF or whatever he is) makes in the crockpot, particularly his homemade beef with veggies, or chicken and potato soup. I am not allowed anywhere near anything that resembles a cooking implement, for fear that I will set the house on fire.....I wonder if he'll let me near mini-kitchen items?
  6. Hi everyone, my name is Jen and I'm a newbie! I've been lurking around the forum for a few weeks and I'm finally getting around to posting the whole introductiony-thingy. I'm pretty new to dollhouses, although way back, my sister started building a Beacon Hill and when she got bored, I took over. I didn't get very far, and once my mom passed away, the BH disspeared, unfortunately. Now though, thanks to my absolutely wonderful, patient, adorable fiance, I'm getting a new BH kit to build the right way (as in, not leaving it in the basement to get all warped and cracked, darn sister of mine!).
