want to to a narrow wide 2 townhouse or street front

I have dreamed of this dollhouse for years. It was too expensive for me in the past and now RGT no longer sells it. So I decided to build mine with what I had at home: cardboard, foamboard ... while spending as little as possible. It takes time but it is built step by step.

Maybe if I look long enough I will figure it out

Re-build of partially constructed Pierce. First dollhouse since 1982! Dollhouse partially assembled with glue gun and wood putty. Porch floor was scored for floor board look and painted grey. Musty, dusty house that had been stored in a basement. At least it is dry!

Here's the half-scale Fairfield I'm building. It's almost complete! Finishing off the attic/roof, bay window roofs, porch railings and trim, trim, trim!

Decided to give @Deb's suggestion a whirl and paint a mini picture from the Youtube channel Painting with Jane. This is where I'll put my finished paintings.

I am building my very first dollhouse! My intention is to build it to look like a house from the Tudor era, which is one of my favorite periods of history to read about. We'll see how well I do!

This house was made by The Dollhouse Inc, division of Jarrell Enterprises in the 1980's: Jerry Jarrell was a local craftsman in Stone Mountain, Georgia These houses were completely assembled and shipped with the various Houseworks window & door components to finish it. This house has thick plywood walls and is almost 52" tall x 23" deep and weighs close to 100lbs! It is quite unique (and huge!) and I am looking forward to bringer her to life!

I can never say that Las Vegas is the dollhouse desert because I stumbled upon a rare beauty. She is a purple behemoth at the moment. The seller said someone gave it to his daughter and she has been playing with it, but they are moving and it needs to go. She looked sad when I carried it away, and I felt bad for her. I feel happy for the house, because I will take loving care of it.

After wishing and dreaming for 10+ years, I finally became the proud owner of a Queen Anne dollhouse! Purchased for a little of nothing and major rehab to be done...I'm up for the challenge and love this house already!

I started this over 6 years ago, and have been working on it off and on since then. I am trying to get myself to dedicate more time to it as I see the light at the end of the tunnel and am anxious to see is finished.

This hobby began by me finding a dollhouse at a yard sale. During the time I had a created bakery at the bottom of my Emerson Row. I realized it was going to be very expensive to purchase all the goodies I needed. So...a new hobby was born.

I am modifying a Storybook cottage so that my lovely Finnish lady Tynne can live there.

Bay Window 1/6 scale project

I've always wanted to do a Peter Pan inspired dollhouse/scene, but I guess I needed the right vessel. I found this clock on the side of the road, and as soon as I realized the back panel comes off very easily, I knew the inside would be perfect to do my own version of Tinkerbell's Clock apartment from the movie Hook

Greetings and hello again. Some of you may remember I started a few projects for my back yard. I've finished a couple simple little projects and I'm always adding a few more when time and energy allows. This thread will show you the progress so far. I'm slightly modifying a 1:24 scale Diana as a lake house.

A "quick" build for me. Doing just a little bashing by upgrading the windows and door. I am adding the stained glass window I purchased off eBay some time ago. I am also adding a small 'add on" bathroom to the back of the house. I decided on a witch's cottage after finding some great Halloween pieces.

I got this house for free -- the person who started it was going to throw it away! It's beautifully painted outside with faux finishes and a Mary Engelbreit theme.

In my early teens I LOVED minis. I had a shop that my mum had found at an auction for me. It had a dark green double front, with bay windows that were amazing for setting up little displays. I eventually set it up as a Haberdashery & clothing store & spent hours making little items for it. It was eventually sold & many of those miniatures sold with it or lost. In my early twenties I started to make a new one using plans that came from a Magazine (Dolls House and Miniature Scene, i think). I had the shell built, components for the front, and had wallpapered the inside with Bro

This Dura-Craft Bellingham Farmhouse belongs to one of my "cake friends" (from my PA cake club days) and I am fixing and finishing it up for her daughter and "someday grandchildren".

This is my second miniature project and I decided to go with half scale due to space and the extra challenge. I am creating this with the Taft General store as the basis, and making it my own. This is the side of the building with the entrance to the quilt shop. I created the brickwork with styrofoam plates and the Coca Cola sign by printing onto a dryer sheet and then decoupaging over the bricks.

A little cottage that I picked up at a garage sale.

This is a 1978 Dollhouse Inc model 1600 Heritage Manor. I have started to renovate it but I did leave a few things "as is" out of respect to the original owner. It is a beast of a house and I love the hidden rooms in the attic. My husband made a stand for it which I later dressed in a skirt. I am showing you the before pics and after pics as I progress. I hope you enjoy.

I will be keeping this little house, it was a Christmas gift from my parents this year.

Will slowly upload pictures. I dry fit the house twice and finally cut the floor and foundation as it was too big to fit thru the door. Lots of pictures of dry fit to help me and maybe others put it together. I am putting on all wallpaper, doors, window frames before finally gluing the walls. I did not put in the window sills as windows will be the final thing I do on the house. I made a real copper ceiling for the kitchen as I had a large roll of copper, cut out squares and imprinted with Cuddlebug.

Trying to buy as little as possible and make as much as I can, so this is a budget project.

This is a half scale chantilly, with some modifications to fit a victorian gothic style. Built in 2018.

I'm slightly bashing a 1:24 scale Chantilly into a witch house. Nothing dark or sinister...this will be the home of a kindly witch.

This half scale Rosedale is the main house in an urban fantasy story I'm working on.

This is my first dollhouse. It is part of my fictional tale of "Windslow Valley" in Britain's northern Lake District. This little cottage was built over 200 years ago for the village's beloved yarn spinner Sarah Spinner. Today it remains a favorite stop on the village's walking tour. Finished July 2012. I am totally having fun reading everyone else's blogs and galleries. I am learning so much and applying what I can to this little house. I don't think I would be doing a very good job if it wasn't for the amazing inspiration I have found here. THANK YOU.

I just finished my Rosedale and wanted to share my pictures with you. I used the Creative Paperclay for the bricks and stone. I did a little bashing on this kit..I left out the staircase, I wanted an extra large bedroom for my scene and needed the space. I added the foundation and a wall and door on the third floor. Inside you will find 2 custom made Wolfie dolls (Wolfie also made the green and pink gowns you see in the pictures along with lots of extras), a custom Deb bed and a food display by Pam. The ladies that live in this mansion are the stage actress, Ms. Olivia M. Rose and her persona
