I'll be visiting my sister for several days and persuaded her to come to the Atlanta Miniature Society's show with me. Has anyone been to this show? Anyone planning to go? Would love to meet up with more GL Forum members ... and maybe we'll have our new T-shirts to wear?? I just checked to see if there are workshops available. Apparently not. Click here for details. Last year they had box lunches and we sat out in the courtyard eating them. I don't even recall if the HI had a restaurant, although I'm sure they do. Maybe Peggi's memory will be better. I went through the above posts and pulled out this list of people who have expressed interest in attending and marked the ones who are planning to attend. We need to start assembling a head count for breakfast on Saturday. Gayle and her husband will be staying in the hotel (Holiday Inn, where the show is to be held) and will organize a meeting place for us in the hotel restaurant at 8:30 am Saturday. Be sure to indicate how many for breakfast. Dunno if spouses want to join the chatter or have a support group table of their own ... lol Will be there: KathieB (+ sister Helen) havanaholly (spouse?)
