Welcome to the Greenleaf Miniature Community! In this section you will find information on the benefits of joining our community and a walk though of the registration process.
We hope you enjoy your visit with us and decide to become a member! This forum will not be visible once you log in.
Mini chatter of all sorts takes place here. Have a question about tools or kitbashing? Got a tip for electrifying or interior decorating? Want to share pictures of the new bedroom set you just bought (or made)? It's all fair game in here!
Having a specific problem with a house? Someone who has worked on the same house might be able to help. Please mention the name of the house in the title of your post, so others who have built that house are sure to read it.
No matter how many houses we go on to build, that first one always holds a special place in our hearts. Do you have pictures to share or a story to tell about your first dollhouse? Here's the place!
(Please don't use this forum for building/decorating questions, even if you're working on your first dollhouse! Those types of posts should go in General Mini Talk or in Questions About A Particular House in the appropriate subforum. This category is *only* to share pictures and stories about your first dollhouse.)
Come see what our community has been up to... and join in yourself! Follow along from start to finish as other members from the community build your favorite houses or join in on our bi-monthly Mini-Swaps where members strut their mini stuff. Without a doubt, these areas are a great wealth of information for all skill levels!
Sales and promotional posts should be made here. (Miniature-related only, please!) This applies to retailers posting links to their websites, as well as to individuals selling dollhouses or other miniatures, either privately or on eBay. Trades for items or services can also be proposed here.
Am I the only one sharing a dining table with my dollhouse project(s)? My fiance is incredibly patient and has learned to share my 550 square foot apartment with 3 dollhouses and a bunch of cigar box projects! It is getting crazy in here. Wondering whether I am alone in this and how others manage. My supplies are under the table in an art cart and one whole closet is stuffed full of materials. It is hilarious. I am stuffing dollhouse attics with miniature furniture while the houses await completion. Could use reassurance that I am not nuts! Lol. Living in a tiny space with tiny houses.
Feeling very lucky to have been gifted this original Washington! Found it on Craigslist and received it as a gift when the owner realized I would give it a caring rehab. So far I've cleaned it (it smelled moldy) and am in the process of removing the wallpaper (could use tips for that.) I removed all carpets, fabric and could use tips for removing a piece of vinyl tile which is glued to the floor. I don't want to damage the house! The house is mostly assembled except for the support under the porch (somehow it is not matching up) but is not glued together (or was and the glue came loose.) I cou
Hi Natasha! How is your house coming along? I have a very dry house that I just acquired (an original Washington!) and the answers to the question you asked may help me, too. My house is assembled and I am concerned that if I take it apart to renovate, it might crumble in places. It is holding together pretty well as is. Were you able to put your house together successfully? I hope so!
