In RL some tiles are enormous, imo, so I don't see why you can't choose something less than traditional for a dh build. It's quite attractive. Love the colors.

I think this might overwhelm the room and your furnishings. Do you have the pieces you plan to put in this room? Any old piece will work, actually, just to give you a sense of scaled furniture on top of the flooring.
