Maggie Downstairs Paper

moonberry

This is the proposed wallpaper for the downstairs coffee shop, book shop and hobby shop. Still debating whether to use the same paper all over. The floor paper isn't large enough and will have to be joined somehow - suggestions are welcome!

For the floor, perhaps you could create a matching edge that goes all the way around the room and your special paper fits into the center.

The paper is too small for that, sadly. The extended bay window plus L-shape around the stairs makes it such a strange shape to fill with a rectangular paper. At least the brown tiles are square, so theoretically, they could be joined together until the space is filled.

I love the wallpaper, but you're right that it might get overwhelming in a whole room. You could have this as one accent wall and use plain cardstock in a coordinating color for the rest - choose any color from your patterned paper. You could also use the pattern on the top over a chair rail with a solid color on the bottom. When I did the Heritage floor, I made color copies of the wood sheets and tried out different layouts. This will save your final papers and give you some room to experiment first.
