This is a closer look at the finished living room ceiling. Eventually everything will have crown moulding once I glue the walls and floor in place. The ceiling medallion is where a future chandelier may be installed. (LED & battery operated)

Thank you! Soon I should be glueing some of my walls together. Just finished making all of my curtains and am working on my stained glass windows....then the glueing begins!!!!!! I am anxious to see how this all comes together but the ceilings were fun to do.

HA, I just realized I typed exactly the same comment on your photo as you did on mine! :)

So are you layering pieces of wallpaper on top of each other to get the effect or strip-piecing everything together? And be sure to post pics of the stained glass windows too! They sound cool!

Well, I guess like minded people have similar reactions and comments! :)

Yes, I did layer some of the papers. In some areas I just sponge painted different paint colors which picked up colors in the wallpaper or did some free style painting. It was really a fun way to deal with what could have been a rather plain ceiling. It was also a great way to use up more of the wallpaper scraps that I had.

As soon as I finish up the stained glass I will take photos and post them but I am still working on them. Hopefully I will finish them soon.
