Dollhouse Shells

moonberry

Went to the beach at low tide this morning. Found a couple of hollows filled with mini shells, literally collected a few pinches full in a bag. Back home, with a little bowl of water under my Mighty Brighty magnifying glass, put half a teaspoon of baggie contents inside and then used a tweezer to remove all the small shells. The tiniest one I found was about 1/32nd of an inch! After nearly an hour, this is how many I found (each speck is a shell, especially the top left corner of the kitchen towel. No way am I typing little labels for each one though, these will probably go in little bowls, bottles and vases or maybe even decorate a small mirror.

In California ,our beaches are covered by laws for protection and we can't collect shells, you are very fortunate. They are tiny and fabulous!
