Starting on the shingles

First timer mistake, I primed the roof white. Thanks to all the tips I got here, I learned that white might show through between the shingles, so I painted the roof brown. I was originally planning to stain the shingles, but now I think I like their natural color. Thanks to Sable for all her advice, she suggested painting a lighter color just around the edge, so that the darker brown won't show underneath the shingles around the edges.
