Mini Lathe Acquired and Acquainted!

The Gnome

I played hookie today and took M'Lady through the keyhole (AKA Mini Shopping @ Dallas' 'Through The Keyhole' miniature store) :flowers: We met some nice people and pointed them this way. Hopefully we will be seeing them here. We picked up the basics for several cool projects and in addition brought home a desire to continue our adventure through actual use ;)

Which brings us to this picture! (Hey, I never promised this story was going to be short *AND* to the point!) A friend of mine did a little shopping for me the other day at Harbor Freight. I now own a Mini Lathe. I have hesitated to use it, partly from time, and partly from a lack of a duplicator. While I still don't have the mini-lathe-duplicator-attachment, I couldn't wait any longer. And thus, Some random turnings were born!! :yikes:

I'll post updates as I explore the wonderful world of turning big sticks into smaller, more creative versions of themselves! :woohoo: , but for now, I just had to share with people who'd "GET IT" when I said I was running a table saw and an 8 inch lathe at midnight in my garage :roflmao:
