Dalesq 4,663 Posted February 27, 2014 It looks good, though the photo is blurry and you can't really see the detail around the head. I'm excited about chickens Have you done any half scale? Quote Link to comment
-defunct account- 749 Posted February 28, 2014 Impressive, especially for a practice piece. Jumped on the stove huh? Guess someone revealed it's fate 1 Quote Link to comment
Selkie 4,483 Posted February 28, 2014 Lo-o-ve the stove too. Where did you find it? 1 Quote Link to comment
rackey 1,259 Posted February 28, 2014 I love this picture. I think it is the visual definition of "country kitchen." My only concern is that I would hate to see this chicken end up inside the oven. I would say you do nice work, but that would be an understatement. Quote Link to comment

Selkie 4,483 Posted February 28, 2014 Selkie, it's a Chrysnbon. Thanks. I would never have guessed that. It looks quite different than I remember my kit looking. I'll have to go dig it out and take a look. Quote Link to comment
EEWinters 105 Posted February 28, 2014 Selkie- Yeah it's a kit stove from eBay. Chrysnbon. Dalesq- I've only worked in 1:12 so far. I could try my hand at 1/2" scale but I'd have to buy smaller feathers and wire first. I plan to make more chickens for a request. But I think I'll also make some for eBay. Thank you all for your kind words! Quote Link to comment
