Interior of facade

Jo Med

Those deep upstairs windows are crying out for window seats and cushions aren't they but I have such a lot to do still on the exterior that I won't get to play for ages yet. Slight miscalculation with the hinges here but I hope to cover it up with iron-on veneer when its assembled.

or just to sit and watch life go by down in the street even. I've a feeling that there will be some interesting characters milling around.

Will the three floors each be a different shop? I see some dormers peeking out behind. Are they another useable floor? Love how you create these mysterious settings. They draw me in and make me wonder.

I don't really know Selkie. The inside is as much a mystery to me at this stage. There are 3 main floors and an attic space with dormer windows which I plan to replace. The roof and sides are the next job - the interior will have to wait. I had toyed with the idea of a set of stairs and an entrance at the side which would lead to more shops but lack of space in my workroom put me off.

Hm-m-m?? Maybe a old fashioned and very well aged wrought iron fire escap-ish look for some outside stairs - they could have vines and moss and such to create some more mystery. They could be narrower because of that.
