I stained the interior to get different depths of color for the wood. It still needs to have the relief carvings painted gold.

This kit is lasercut, so the reliefs are etched into the wood. I used a fine tip brush (18/0) to hand paint the gold and a dental pic to scrape any mistakes. It was very slow going but I was really happy with the results.
