I have always wanted a Japanese or Zen garden in real life...the next best thing is to have one in my mini world.

The act of entering the gate and shutting it behind you symbolizes leaving the world behind. You stroll a stone path to the arbor where you may sit or lay as you listen to the sounds of water flowing from a bamboo pipe into a stone bowl. A tree in full bloom mimics, the white sands flowing around the island of the world and the blue sky seen overhead between the bamboo slats offer a peaceful escape.
