I would like to put in new stairs facing the other way but am concerned about removing the old ones. They are in there pretty good and I don't want to destroy the whole house trying to take the stairs out. I'll have to give this a bit of thought. Hmmm!!

Hmm... taking out stairs is always a major undertaking. Heat gun, gentle prying, and any other trick you can think of!

I took a closer look at the stairs and they're in there pretty good. So the heat gun would probably be a must. The problem is I don't have one and never used one, so if I do get one it looks like I will be here at the forum asking lots of questions :) Thanks for the luck, I think I am going to need it.
