What is this you ask?

So.... I have an ENORMOUS amount of junk/broken jewelery... I literally used to buy it by the pound on Ebay when I was making and selling doll clothes. Some of it make great embellishments on doll clothes. Anyhow... I was digging through my boxes of and found a few interesting pieces I think would work in the Jasmine. The red rhinestone circle used to be a clip on earring... it will soon become a fancy chandelier... the purple flower dangle earring will be disassembled and I am going to make a small pendant light which will hang in the tower of the Jasmine. The cameo I just think is cool and will be likely used as a picture... the gold teardrop thingy won't be used in the Jasmine as it's too big... but I think it would make a really cool modern pendant light for a 1:12 scale house.....

I am being inspired by Peles Castle in Romania.... for this house... lots and lots of wood work, gaudy ornate trims, gold "leaf" etc. It's a tiny little house so it's going to be a challenge to make it look good without being too much...

(the living room is only 5 inches by 6 inches)

I thought light fixtures too. The purple flower looks like some beads I've been looking at thinking I will try to make lights. Feel free to show me how! Just hinting :)

Debora... I have the chandelier made... no light yet though as I'm waiting for supplies to arrive... it's sorta silly but it will work... I'll post pictures of it once it's complete....

as for the floral light... since the flower is plastic it's pretty light, all I am going to do is take a pre wired bulb (like a Gor bulb) ... disassemble the earring and just string the beads directly onto the wire.... normally I'd use a headpin as well, but since it's so light and I am only going to be using 3 or 4 of the beads it should be ok... I'll take pictures as I do it.... (if my package of lighting supplies ever gets here...sigh)
