Loved your Pierce--looking forward to seeing your progress. Those stairs look like the ones that I had in the San Fran 557; I added turned spindles, newel posts, and railing to give a more finished look.

I plan to add the railings and spindles. Just not really happy with the mdf block that is the stair itself. May veneer it or try a couple of paint colours.
