After what seemed like a hundred takes, the family got a few good shots from which they can use for their family Christmas card. The girls are lining the staircase in Brady Bunch fashion (that is youngest to oldest moving from top to bottom). Their personalized stockings were made by Barbara Hill of Hill Country Miniatures.
The girls kept mixing up their stockings, as they thought it would be funny if they were each holding a stocking with one of their sisters' names instead of their own to see if anyone would notice. However, Grandma thought that would confuse too many friends and relatives, so they kept it serious.
