your opinion please

Debora59

I am not happy with the plexi glass windows I made with lead strips, the plexi glass wont stay put for one thing, I have several Lawbre tall triple pane windows as you see one taped in place, I can order double pane and Teri at Lawbre said she could make me a single pane for the side pieces. they seem like they would be a perfect fit once I cut away the old panes. What do you think?

The square windows will go with your inspiration photos and the fireplace. It looks really good, so if you're happy with it, I say go for it. :)

I prefer the original Gothic style windows. They are more in keeping with the style of building. But if its easier and you are happy with the Lawbre windows, use them.

I love the old gothic style too but that is just my opinion. The shaped of the top of the windows as well as the lead give it quite an authentic feel, imo.

its a tough call, the differing shapes at the tops of the windows will be gone but a very finished look will be obtained, I am sure it will boil down to cost, even though I have some of the windows already, there are a LOT that I would need to purchase. maybe I will find an easier less costly way for the finished window look that I want Thank you for any input

I really like the gothic shapes also, but I TOTALLY understand wanting them to fit perfectly and not wobble around. Go with what your gut tells you! You are a fantastic builder, so anything you choose will be fabulous. :) :)
