The flagstones were cut from a cardboard packet that used to hold sandpaper, glued onto cardstock, with spackle for grout and a number of dirty washes. The baskets were ones that I've had sitting around for a while; I gave them a dirty wash and hung them up. For some reason I decided that Mrs. T has a lot of brown-paper packages; they might be clean laundry ready to deliver, or fresh stores of starch.

Some of the items on the clotheslines are from the story: Sally Henny-penny's stockings, the wooly coats belonging to the lambs of Skelghyl, the waistcoats and Peter Rabbit's shrunken blue coat. On the clothesrack is Jenny Wren's stained damask table-cloth, old Mrs. Rabbit's handkersniff, and Lucie's pinny. Tabby Kitten's mittens are on the basket edge.
