Placement is everything in the mini world, which is why I like playing with the furniture in this room. I thought the vanity, which was really made for my Garfield house, may have been too bulky for an attic room that was compromised by a slanted roof. Also, the wicker chair next to the matching wicker dresser was a tight squeeze in the opposite corner. So for now, I am saving the vanity as inspiration to complete my Garfield house, and the wicker chair looks good on the porch.

I really didn't want to take the vanity away from the girls, but they prefer using Grandma's vanity anyway. Amy likes her desk in the corner where the vanity was, and both she and Heather find the openenss of the room fresh and appealing. Besides, they need to make room for the dollhouse they may be getting for Christmas.
