Holly on Porch Steps w. Socks

The original Holly Hobbie was a cat lover, and my Holly is true to her namesake. So when she asked for this stuffed animal, Grandpa bought it for her. Now if the cat were real, I would have to buy it a miniature litter box, but now I am off the hook.

Holly named her cat Socks because it looks like the cat Chelsea Clinton had in the White House when her father was president. The family must be Democrats because both Fala and Socks were named after pets owned by Democratic first families. In any event, Holly and her cat are inseparable.
