Setting the Table

Lovely dolls really adorable but oversized I am afraid. You can fins some exquisite dolls on Cavalcade Costume Dolls!

Yeah, I know they are a bit oversized. In fact, if you put Grandma and Grandpa together on the loveseat and then put Carrie between them, she will look like the amazon child from Hell, sent to earth to extinguish adults. - But they are a family, and they belong together. They also belong in the house, because as in scale as everything else may (or may not) be, the dolls give it life and bring out life-like characteristics of the home.

That is what is so great about this hobby. You can be as realistic or irrational as you would like. You can combine total realism with pure fantasy, and somehow it all works out. It's as if the miniature world takes on a reality of its own.

However, I will check out the dolls you mention, as I love browsing. I appreciate your comments and interest in my pictures.
